Show from 01/21/09

January 21, 2010

Tonight’s show was nearly 94% vinyl, with most of it being records I recently found in area thrift stores. Filling the gaps was RE Search Publication’s wonderful Incredibly Strange Music CDs (I highly recommend finding the books and the CDs) and some noise releases. Fun times. A bit daunting. I rarely use vinyl much these days and came into the station with my crate full and no road map.

Merrill Womach

The Braillettes

Here it is again, in glorious stereo:

  3. Going to Hell? Nah, I don’t think so. The only sin you will have committed is if you make this the last Kill Ugly Radio broadcast! Not sure if that’s what you were saying at the beginning of this broadcast, but I just discovered KUR, and I have to say I am on cloud 9! This is such a good way to wind down after a screwed up day at work.

Thanks for this – and it was great to FINALLY hear some stuff from the Brailettes! Ive known of them for years solely for their album cover. Also, if you ever find the album “Jesus Use Me” by the Faith Tones, then you would be a god.

Thanks again for your hard work!

  4. good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….good morning….

LOLOL Do you have any idea how annoying it is when that’s stuck in your head 3 nights in a row, utterly eliminating any chance of a good night’s sleep?

But thats not a complaint, it’s a compliment. You’re talented, and I say do more episodes with random vinyl in the future! You really know how to trip a dude out!
